All over the world, refugees are forced to flee the most dire circumstances to keep their families safe. When they come to Chicago, they can count on being welcomed by a friendly neighbor, thanks to Exodus World Service.
Exodus World Service is in the service of hospitality. Called to welcome the stranger, Exodus mobilizes volunteers to greet refugees when they arrive in the Chicago area, and develop meaningful relationships during their first three months. For refugees, the feeling of isolation is strong, so developing a human connection can be the most important part of setting them up for a life of success.
